Meet The Team

Justin has been flying since 1990 and founded the flight school in 1997. He holds FAA certifications for multi-engine commercial and Instrument as well as airframe and powerplant mechanic, inspector authorization, advanced ground instructor, remote pilot, and is an FAA-certified written exam test proctor. Justin enjoys teaching ground school classes, providing aviation career consulting as well as aircraft purchase evaluations and aircraft management services for customers when needed. Justin combined his passion for business & airplanes after an introductory flight lesson in 1989, and the business was built from there.

Bart is a ground and flight instructor for private, instrument, commercial, and airline transport pilots in both single and multi-engine aircraft. Bart also does instruction for the initial flight instructor rating (CFI) as well as ad on ratings for instrument instructor (CFII) and multi-engine instructor (MEI). He has been instructing full time for EAS Flight Training since the spring of 2017 and became an owner in the company in 2022. Bart looks forward to helping you with whatever certificate or rating you need.

Jason began his flight training journey with
EAS Flight Training in December 2023 as a student pilot. He then continued with private, instrument,
commercial and flight instructor certificates before beginning work for EAS as a flight instructor in 2026.

Grant started with EAS Flight Training in 2016 and earned his private pilot certificate. He then attended the University of Central Missouri and received a bachelors degree in airport management & professional pilot. He received his initial instructors certificate as well as his instrument flight instructor in 2022. Grant joined our flight instruction team at the Aurora location in 2023 and looks forward to helping all of his students attain their goals in flying.

Sam has been flying with EAS Flight Training since 2020 and after receiving his Flight Instructors Certificate came to work as a flight instructor for EAS in 2024. He also holds his Commercial pilot certificate for single & multi-engine aircraft as well as an Instrument rating. Sam has acquired several hundred hours of flight experience since getting his private pilot certificate with us in 2021 and looks forward to sharing that experience with you.

Caleb grew up in the local area and became interested in aviation as a career while flying with his family on vacations. Caleb completed his muti engine training & flight instructor certificates with us here at EAS. Caleb joined the EAS team as an instructor in the Spring of 2024 and looks forward to providing quality instruction to all of our students and renters.

Guy joined the Army out of high school and had jobs in many different fields until the pandemic hit. At that point he decided to pursue an aviation career. Guy has been flying since 2021 and after obtaining his flight instructor certificate joined EAS in the spring of 2024. Guy is an excellent pilot and enjoys teaching the next generation of aviators the skills needed to be safe and successful in this industry.

Sally Joined our Aurora Team as a flight instructor in the summer of 2025. She had never considered flying airplanes until a discovery flight with her brother sparked her passion for aviation. She began taking instruction in 2022 and earned her private, instrument, commercial and flight instructor ratings all with EAS Flight Training. Sally earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Missouri State University in 2024. She had always wanted to teach and was excited about the opportunity to combine that passion with aviation by becoming a flight instructor. Sally looks forward to furthering her aviation experience and helping students achieve their goals.

After being raised as a farm kid in Soutwest Missouri, Darren took his first lesson in 2020. After obtaining his Private Pilot Certificate he decided that flying for fun and on the weekends was not enough to scratch his flying itch. Darren finished his training in Kansas City and came to EAS with his tailwheel, high-performance and complex endorsements in addition to being an instrument instructor and Multi-engine instructor. Darren is an excellent instructor and would be happy to help you with achieving you aviation goals!

Mike Rasico is a Flight Instructor at EAS and teaches private pilot and commercial students. He has been flying for 18 years and a part of the EAS crew Since 2019. He holds certifications for commercial airplane single-engine land and sea, instrument airplane, Certified Flight Instructor and advanced ground instructor. Aviation seemed out of reach for Mike while growing up. It was an encouraging wife from an aviation family that inspired Mike to take lessons. From there, the rest is history. Mike now gets to share the joy of flying with others while helping them along their journey

Dan started work for EAS the first time around as a young flight instructor in the early 90's. He owns his own Cherokee 180 and still keeps his flight instructor certificate current. He comes back into the fold with EAS Flight Training this time around on the administrative side to help with bookkeeping, scheduling and customer relations. Dan has been with us at EAS since January 2026

Jacob attended Central Missouri State University and and graduated with a B.S. in Aviation along with his Commercial & Flight Instructor Certificates in 2024. Jacob Interviewed with us and started as an instructor in January 2026.

Seth started with EAS Flight Training, and has been instructing for us since the spring of 2018. Seth has many years and hours of experience as CFI/CFII & MEI. He is excited about helping make your dreams of becoming a pilot come true. He is available by appointment only at our Aurora and Monett locations

Jake started work with EAS as an airframe & power plant mechanic in the fall of 2022. He has since earned his FAA inspector authorization in 2025 and has become extremely familiar and knowledgeable with all models of Cessna, Piper, Beech and many other general aviation aircraft along with the occasional Warbird. In the fall of 2025 Jake was promoted to the position of shop manager. Wes started as a mechanics apprentice with EAS in the spring of 2024 and continues to gain skills and knowledge towards testing for his airframe and powerplant certificate. Wes will become eligible for his FAA certificate in the fall of 2026 after completing his 30 months of full-time apprenticeship working alongside the 2 Inspector Authorized FAA mechanics in the shop. Wes is an integral part of keeping our fleet safe and in the air.

Kurt started work as an Airframe & Power Plant Mechanic with Elite Aircraft Services LLC in 2026 and works diligently each day to make sure your aircraft operates efficiently and safely.
Kurt attended A&P school at Universal Technical Institute in Arizona as well as getting some practical experience on small general aviation aircraft along the way.
He spent 7 years in the armed forces along the way and carries that sense of duty and responsibility with him today. Come by the shop and talk to Kurt about keeping your aircraft in tip-top shape and ready to go.
